At the age of 77 my quality of life was really compromised by severe shoulder pain, preventing me from playing golf the hobby I love.
Some members of my golf club recommended Mr Pimpalnerkar, Consultant Orthopaedic & Sports Surgeon to me.
My consultation was in June 2015, and following an MRI scan which confirmed the severe arthritis in the shoulder joint he recommended a complete shoulder replacement operation.
The operation took place 12th August 2015 and was followed by physiotherapy and further consultations with Mr Pimpalnerkar.
I was back on the golf course by January, following a complete recovery.
I would like to thank Mr Pimpalnerkar for returning me to full health and a very active lifestyle at the age of 77, I am extremely grateful, for all of his time, attention, skill and care.
